The objective of camera trap images is to monitor and observe the wildlife movement. These data can be used for management and improvement of wildlife habitation. Generally the cameras will be erected at important places like near water bodies grasslands, path ways, resting places etc., to record the movement of the wildlife.
It is very much essential to maintain a unique code to each and every camera with reference to the location details.
The camera traps are being maintained by the concerned FBO and FSO including loading and downloading of the data.
The FBO concerned after downloading, he will be going through all the images and recording the inferences to the camera trap register.
This will enable the FBO to know about the movement and its healthyness of the wildlife in their jurisdiction.
