Grasslands Management in KTR

The main objectives of grassland management are to improve natural and sown hay fields and pastures, to develop highly productive planted lands and to ensure the most efficient use of all of these lands.

Prevent soil erosion.
To improve water quality and soil quality.
To develop a combination of fodder and forage species.
To improve the productive potential of the site considering the edaphic and climatic conditions.
Grasslands will be needed for herbivores for their grazing habitat, breeding habitat, resting habitat etc.
These grass lands are prey base for the carnivores.
